Support for Future Engineers
The ESB Education Foundation supports Baltimore Metropolitan area high school and college engineering students seeking financial aid for continued education in the engineering fields. The Education Foundation provides scholarships and low-interest loans to future engineers enrolled in ABET approved programs.

Scholarships & Loans
Eligible students may apply via online application within the deadline period (generally January-March). Once received, the ESB-EF Board of Trustees will review all applications and select finalists for interviews. Awardees will be notified after all interviews are complete. The ESB-EF and its Associate Societies award up to a dozen scholarships and loans each year.
Financial Aid for Engineering Students
The Engineering Society of Baltimore Education Foundation is offering merit-based scholarships to graduating high school students pursuing a degree in engineering in an ABET accredited program. The scholarships are limited to students from the Baltimore Metropolitan area including Baltimore City and Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford and Howard Counties. Multiple scholarships will be awarded, including the following:

A $3,000 James Posey Associates Centennial Scholarship (preferably awarded to a student enrolled in a mechanical or electrical engineering program).

The Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is offering up to two scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each for candidates with Hispanic Heritage.

Additional scholarship awards will be made to outstanding candidates based on specific criteria defined by additional scholarship sponsors. The American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) is likely offering two scholarships in the amount of $1,500 each to be awarded to individuals aspiring to a career in the Highway Industry (including, but not limited to Civil and Environmental Engineering, Water Resources, Traffic Engineering, Transportation Planning and Construction Management). The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is likely offering a scholarship in the amount of $2,500 to be awarded to individuals aspiring to a career in Civil Engineering.
